Tribute to Thakur Ram Lal: Education Minister Rohit Thakur Attends Commemoration Program in Jubbal
Education Minister Rohit Thakur attended a program in Jubbal today to commemorate the 22nd death anniversary of the late Thakur Ram Lal.
In his address, Thakur highlighted that Thakur Ram Lal laid a strong foundation for development in this region under challenging circumstances. He credited Thakur Ram Lal with encouraging horticulture, which has contributed to the prosperity of villages in Jubbal-Nawar-Kotkhai.
Thakur noted that Thakur Ram Lal led this assembly constituency nine times, serving as both Governor and Chief Minister. He expressed pride that someone from a humble farming background achieved such high positions.
He emphasized that the current development efforts are guided by Thakur Ram Lal’s vision, aiming to transform the constituency. He urged everyone to continue following Thakur Ram Lal’s path to ensure comprehensive development.
The Education Minister mentioned a proposal to install a statue of Thakur Ram Lal, stating that discussions with Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu would be necessary.
During the program, attendees paid floral tributes to Thakur Ram Lal, remembering his contributions to the state’s development.
Also present at the event were District Council Member Kaushal Mungta, Himfed Chairman Bhim Singh Jhoota, Jubbal-Kotkhai Congress President Moti Lal Derta, and senior party workers.
