Bus service restored on old Junga route after 35 days 

After a gap of about 35 days, HRTC has started bus services via Old Junga. For which many intellectuals including social worker Pankaj Sen, former BDC member Seema Sen, Kamal Sharma, Ramlal, Rakesh Verma, Tarun Verma, Manoj Verma, Sagar have expressed gratitude to the government and the transport corporation. Let us tell you that recently on March 25, on the occasion of Holi, some mischievous elements had beaten up the driver and conductor of HRTC, due to which HRTC had banned the running of buses on various routes via Old Junga. They claimed that a decision had been taken not to run buses on Old Junga until the MLA or the local head took responsibility of the staff. Pankaj Sen said that HRTC’s decision to stop buses on the old Junga route due to some mischievous elements was not logical. They say that the distance from Bus Stand Junga to Old Junga is about two kilometers. The closure of buses on this route caused a lot of inconvenience, especially to senior citizens and school children. He said that the people of Junga had raised this issue with the Transport Minister, due to which buses were reinstated on this route.
