Jairam holds the record of losing all the seats in the by-elections while in power : Congress
Congress leader and Chief Parliamentary Secretary Mohan Lal Brakta and Kishori Lal have said that if Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur had any morality, he would have resigned immediately after losing all four seats in the by-elections while in power. Both of them said that Jairam Thakur has made the record of losing all four seats while in power and hence he should have resigned on moral grounds, but he remained clinging to the chair. He said that in October 2021, when BJP was in power, it lost the by-elections of Mandi Lok Sabha seat as well as Arki, Jubbal-Kotkhai and Fatehpur assembly seats in the state, then where was the morality of former Chief Minister Jairam Thakur, the words of the former Chief Minister and There is a world of difference in their actions and they can stoop to any level in the greed for power.
Mohan Lal Brakta and Kishori Lal said that former Chief Minister Jairam Thakur talks in vain and there is no morality in him and he is always busy in misleading the people and is only greedy for power. He said that the attempt to bring political instability in Himachal Pradesh is the result of Jairam Thakur’s greed. BJP tried to buy and sell the mandate through money power, which the people of Himachal Pradesh will never accept. He said that due to the anti-people policies of the BJP, the voters of the state had voted it out of power in the 2022 assembly elections, but the BJP leaders could not accept this mandate. That is why BJP has tried to buy the mandate with the help of money.
Mohan Lal Brakta and Kishori Lal said that the present Congress government under the leadership of Chief Minister Thakur Sukhwinder Singh has taken many historic decisions in its tenure of only one and a quarter years. Whose sole objective is to ensure all-round development of Himachal Pradesh so that the welfare of every section of the society can be achieved. Today the common man is getting the benefit of this thinking and hard work of the state government. He said that the interest of the people of the state is paramount for the Congress government and the state government is making efforts day and night for the development of the state.
