State Vigilance and Anti-corruption Bureau sleuth of Kullu district recovered 850 gunny bags which were pilferage from the supply meant for winter stock of Pangi tribal areas.
A press release issued by the spokesperson of SV&ACB said that a search was conducted on the input and secret information on Friday.
A SV&ACB team from police station Kullu under the leadership of DYSP Ajay Kumar raided the premises of Mata Vaishno Devi temple at Ramshilla Kullu and recovered 850 bags (50 kg each ) of Civil Supply Rice.
42 tons Supply was meant to be distributed at the Pangi subdivision of Chamba district a tribal area.
A case under various sanctions of IPC Act, Prevention of Corruption Act, and Essential Commodities Act has been registered at police station SV&ACB Kulli and further investigation in the case has been started.
