Shashi Kant Joshi appoints as member of HPERC

Shashi Kant Joshi has been appointed Member of the Himachal Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission. He is an electrical engineering graduate from Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology, Bhopal and has done post graduation in electrical engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee. He also did Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management & Labour Welfare & MBA. He has experience of thirty seven years in every sphere of Power Sector and is having variety of experience in various fields  viz. distribution, generation, transmission, commercial & regulatory affairs. He joined as assistant engineer in H.P. State Electricity Board in 1985  and worked in different organizations; HPSEB, Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam (SJVNL), Tala Hydro Project Authority (THPA) at Bhutan, H.P. Electricity Regulatory Commission and HPPCL at different capacities. Presently he is working as Director (Electrical) in Himachal Pradesh Power Corporation Ltd.
